As part of COOP Denmark’s strategy to reduce CO₂ emissions by 5,000 tons annually, a 1,025 kWp solar power plant has been established at the distribution center in Odense. The plant consists of 2,500 monocrystalline solar panels and is mounted on an east/west-oriented mounting system.
The solar power plant is designed to supply energy for self-consumption and is connected to five different switchboards due to the building’s complex layout. The execution of the installation required detailed planning, the use of a backup generator to ensure continuous operation, and close coordination with all stakeholders. This project supports COOP’s green transition and ambitions for a more sustainable energy supply
